2. What personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details: first name, last name, company name, email address, phone number
- Delivery details: pickup and delivery addresses, postcode, item or shipment description, requested dates
- Communication data: the content of any message you send us through our contact form, email or phone, including call recordings if you're informed of this at the time
- Tracking data: if you book a delivery, we generate a tracking code and, where applicable, GPS location data from the assigned driver, so you can follow your delivery in real time
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and device information, collected automatically when you visit our website
We do not knowingly collect payment card details through our website. Any invoicing or payment is handled separately and is not stored on this website.
3. How we collect your data
- When you fill in our contact/quote request form
- When you email or call us directly
- When you book a delivery or removal with us
- Automatically, through standard website server logs, when you browse our site
4. Why we process your data (legal basis)
- Performance of a contract: to provide you with a quote, arrange and carry out a delivery or removal, and communicate with you about your booking
- Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, improve our services, and maintain the security of our website
- Legal obligation: to keep records required for accounting, tax and insurance purposes
- Consent: where we ask for it separately, for example if you opt in to marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:
- Our drivers, so they can complete your delivery or removal
- Service providers who support our operations, such as our email provider (Google Workspace) and website hosting provider, acting under contract and only for the purposes we specify
- Regulatory or legal authorities, where we are required to do so by law
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example, our email and hosting providers) may process data on servers located outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected to a standard equivalent to UK data protection law, including relying on providers that offer appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
- Enquiry or quote request data that does not lead to a booking is generally kept for up to 12 months, then deleted
- Booking, delivery and invoicing records are kept for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law (typically 6 years)
- Tracking data linked to a specific delivery is retained only as long as necessary to resolve any queries or disputes about that delivery

- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your data, where applicable
- Request restriction of how we process your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
